Here are just a few doodles in search of some answers on our short film, The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore. These concepts (among many others) were NOT used, but helped us get to where we were going. Here's a little peek behind the scenes:

Here is a link to the CINEQUEST film festival, one of the more exclusive film festivals, for animation. It takes place March 3rd and March 6th for animation, and it's cheap to get in. It takes place in San Jose, CA and should be fun. If you are in the area, support animation and check out Morris Lessmore!


A quick tour of MOONBOT Studios

Here's where I've been camping for the last 5 months. I've been working at Moonbot and with Bill, Brandon and others for nearly two years, but our new studio has been complete for less than a half year, and it's an exciting place, every day:

Old caricature scan

I promised a few artists in 2009 at the ISCA Caricature Convention that I'd put this sketch up for anyone interested, at a print resolution. I was cleaning my studio the other day, and found it!
