That could be, Aaron. I don't think about it much, except for the fact that each face is handled differently. I've got some more that I may show soon, and they are quite different. I'd hate to offer an extreme or crazy drawing to a guest that doesn't have some sort of pleasing quality to the masses. Their own ignorance on the subject isn't their fault- nor is it a negative quality, it's just as much a matter-of-fact as saying I'm not an accountant... it's just how it is. Their need for appeal shouldn't be trumped by anything, so I think I'm using the coloring to gloss over it a bit and have some sort of unifying quality from drawing-to-drawing.
it's funny how someone can just scream... "hey Im mexican". then again... i am a white girl.. and i look pretty damn white. and yes.. i scream a lot as well. these all suck joe. good luck in the art world. theres always mcdonalds. :)
