Thanks- the parents seemed quite leery and unsatisfied the entire drawing. They actually asked me to write the name, and I replied as in the video, only to get a look that said, "no, we can't see her in this, but whatever." This isn't important, though, because I could tell that the girl would love something funny. That was a genuine laugh at the end of the video, and she loved it. Based on her reaction, the parents reluctantly let me draw their other daughter as well. I pushed it just as far and she loved it.
In the end, the parents walked away happy, and I feel as though I made a difference in their opinion of caricature.

Of course it's genius, but that looks incredibly dangerous. Did you get the girl's permission to do something that wild? She looked happy.
