Here's another drawing I did just to play around before continuing a larger canvas painting. I'll hopefully keep warming up and sketching like this... I really have fun doing it.
PS- Lots of special stuff to pop up here soon; check back.
Nice Letterman Joe! You are an amazing enigma in the world of art, my friend, with your intriguing talents! I just went through all your posts and I can't wait to hear more on your insight and techniques at the con during your seminar. You've already inspired me to be more explorative in my exaggerations at events as I've come to know your work this past few months! Hope to purchase a REJECTS book there also!

Yeah! That's cool!
It's a great likeness of Dave, but I have to admit at first glance, I thought of FDR... boy, is Dave getting old.
WOW! I love the hatching and sense of form on this one!
Nice technique. It almost looks like a penny from far away.
I love this style Joe - I've only seen David Letterman a few times & you've really nailed the likeness here! Great stuff!
MATE!
I got that at first glance.
Surprising that you chose to do a profile. I would have thought a straight view would be easier.
PS. Are you going to put a new book out?

The rough style is cool. Nevertheless found a great likeness. Great.
